Disclaimer: These rotations and playstyles, as well as the PoV, is intentionally designed so that almost any player will be able to bring it to the golem and achieve the set benchmark, even at ~300 ping. The rotation is also designed around being very playable in an actual raid scenario, where you will be required to do mechanics or move around, instead of pushing the maximum DPS possible on the Golem for the class. Experienced players will easily beat this DPS benchmark playing the same build as the benchmark is NOT grinded. This rotation consists of an opener, and an infinite loop. About 40% of the rotation is just auto attacking soooo even though it's not an extremely easy rotation, it's still pretty doable. It does has some minute timing things that increases the damage, but honestly, you'll be able to hit 30+k DPS easily even if you miss these timings, as long as you're following the rotation. Opener: 1) Start in Fire/Air attunement 2) Glyph of Elemental 3) Air Attunement (Air/Fire) 4) Air Attunement (Air/Air) 5) Lightning Storm Try to time it so that you reach Step 5 as the fight starts. If the fight starts before Step 5, just auto attack to fill the gaps. If you reach Step 5 before the fight starts, delay Step 5 until the fight starts. Infinite Loop: 1) Starting from Air/Air from the opener 2) Use Sword 3 Quantum Strike when your Fire Attunement cooldown is around 1s 3) Fire Attunement (Fire/Air) 4) Fire Sword 2 Flame Uprising 5) Fire/Air Sword 3 Pyro Vortex 6) Arcane Blast (No cast time) 7) Primordial Stance (No cast time) 7) Fire Attunement (Fire/Fire) 8) Fire Sword 3 Cauterizing Strike 9) Fire Sword 2 Flame Uprising when it's off cooldown 10) Air Attunement (Air/Fire) 11) Auto Attack 12) Air Attunement (Air/Air) On top of this, use: 1) Air Warhorn 5 Lightning Orb 2) Fire Warhorn 5 Wildfire 3) Glyph of Storms 4) Flame Barrage off cooldown. Use Warhorn 4 Cyclone if you're in Air Attunement and Warhorn 5 Lighting Orb is on cooldown. Your CC skills are: 1) Air Sword 2 Polaric Leap 2) Air Warhorn 4 Cyclone and you really don't have more CC without losing significant damage. These 2 skills do substantial CC, and should be enough in 90% of fights. That's basically it. even though the loop is kind of long, it kind of just boils down to press almost all your skills off cooldown. Realistically I can see this being 37-38k, but I didn't practice or grind this bench. This is my 2nd try, and it was clean enough and sets a realistic target to beat. Updated for AW2.
