Let's meet Stephanie Ortiz, Healthcare Business Development Manager!

Learn about exciting careers in healthcare! Today I am talking to Stephanie Ortiz about her healthcare career journey! Stephanie was born in Eagle Pass, Texas but is an El Paso native. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at El Paso, becoming a first generation college graduate. Stephanie continued her education by pursuing a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. She graduated with highest honors and was awarded the Outstanding Graduate Student Award. Post-grad, Stephanie worked as the practice manager for a healthcare clinic in San Antonio, Texas. Stephanie recently joined Hanger Clinic as a Business Development Manager in her hometown of El Paso. One of the things she enjoys most about being part of Hanger is the ability to help and make a positive impact on people’s lives, people from her own community. On her spare time, Stephanie likes spending time with family, networking, traveling, trying new places to eat, and participating in outdoor recreational activities.
