We add a Stay Level desk that doesn't need to be totally cleared off when lowering into a bed. We also added outset lights that can be used in both the desk or bed position. These outset lights also allow the bookcases to be a deeper 18". Pull out drink trays were added to the bookcase that can be used as either desk extensions or nightstand/drink trays with the bed.
