Learn more about the casting of Jonathan Frid as the vampire who was supposed to stay on the show for 13 weeks and ended up with mobs of fans coming to see him at events. Jonathan tells us how he portrayed Barnabas the man, not just the vampire. Kathryn Leigh Scott was a major cast member playing four different characters in Dark Shadows, including Josette and Josette's ghost. In her own words, Kathryn explains how the idea for a 20th anniversary book led to production of a number of books loved by fans. With the release of Dark Shadows on videotape and DVD, MPI Video included a series of about 120 interviews that were recorded over a period of years. One of these 5-10 minute interviews would play at the end of each DVD. Those interviewed included Dan Curtis, the Creator/Executive Producer, as well as Directors, Cameramen, and many other crew members. There were also a number of interviews of some of our favorite cast members.
