In this video you will encounter a lot of repetitive sounds and noises and music. It's simply the way I produce my music. I've been asked quite a few times on how I go about doing things in Jeskola Buzz when producing my music. So I thought I'll try to do some videos on how I go about making my music. I generally do everything in Buzz. From designing the sounds, creating presets for generators and effects, patterns, sequencing and just generally all that goes with my music. I rarely use samples and I sometimes use VST's, like in this track. This might change in the future, since I did recently get a Deepmind12 and I am in the process of building a modular synth rack, most modules built out of DIY kits and a few bought ones. Some modules might be custom stuff later either designs of friends, or my own, but designing and building my onw will take quite some time, I have still a long, long learning journey ahead when it comes to electronics. I somewhat dislike the idea to have to do post processing in different applications after I worked on a track for a long time, so I just want to press record and be done with it. For that I have a fairly nice mixing and realtime post processing setup as templates. When I press record, it's the last thing I do. There is no post processing in other applications for now. In this video I took a track that I started a few days ago, so it's definitely not representative for a workflow from start to finish. This is just an inbetween phase for this track. You may want to skip the bit where I'm looking for a pan effect that doesnt click when using the random pan function. mixIO has a pan function with inertia builtin, I just never used it before, so... yeah... took me a moment and some facepalming when I finally saw it... :P It's almost finished, so I guess we can say, this is towards the ending phase, where I creat the ending of the track and do some polishing of the general sound tweaking the generators and effets, adding slight variations to some parts and what you see here is essentially the first time I render the track to wave. Since the video rendering, I've been tweaking some more and I am close to a final version. I'll link the track here when it's finished and uploaded somewhere. :) If you want to see more or something specific, please let me know in the comments or any of the other means you have to tell me.
