VEVOR Diesel Heater MESH UPGRADE and og Fan Only Runs at 63% Power – OG ECU Limiting It!

In this video, I upgraded my diesel heater with a stainless steel (RVS) mesh and found that the original ECU limited the fan speed to only 63% power. Since my ESP32-S3 ECU doesn’t have that limitation, it was easy to confirm the restriction on the stock ECU unit. I installed stainless steel mesh inside the fins and around the heat exchanger, then tested to ensure there was no drop in airflow velocity (m/s). Fortunately, there wasn’t which means the increased surface area now allows the heater to release more heat efficiently.
