Two Unremarkable Climbers in Red Rocks: Day 2 - Pillar Talk + Chocolate Tranquility Fountain

Lindsay and I (two unremarkable climbers) climb Pillar Talk and Chocolate Tranquility Fountain in our second afternoon at Red Rocks! My goal is to show that you don't have to be crazy good climbers to have awesome adventures!! Or remarkable videographers to make some sick videos! Even if I'm only talking to one person, I hope you enjoy! The climbs are located in Willow Spring. Pillar Talk is a 2 pitch trad 5.7 with one bolted anchor at the top of pitch 1 and one gear anchor at the top of pitch 2. Chocolate Tranquility Fountain is a one pitch trad 5.7 a short scramble from the top of Pillar Talk and has a gear anchor and a very well-cairned walk off, then tree rappel at Sleeper. The climbs were quite vertical and tougher than I expected, especially onsight since I wasn't quite sure where to go, but despite the calf pump while deliberating, they were super fun! It was all shady except for pitch two of Pillar Talk, which was perfect for climbing in May! The approach was short (if you don't get lost lol) and the crag wasn't busy! Highly recommend!!
