Raceroom VR: A Graphics Update 8 Years In The Making

Raceroom continues to surprise me with hidden gems — this time it’s the Crosslé 9S, a lightweight, rear-wheel-drive race car from 1966 powered by a 185bhp Ford engine. I’ll be honest, I had to Google it — but once I got behind the wheel in VR, I was totally sold. Agile, punchy, and surprisingly fun to throw around on the track. I took it to Mid-Ohio at sunset, and even with RaceRoom’s older graphics engine, it delivered a really atmospheric and enjoyable experience. The VR performance with the Quest 3 was solid, and the force feedback felt alive through my Fanatec setup. There's something special about this sim when everything clicks — even more so when you stumble across cars or tracks you’ve never driven before. This video was recorded during a free weekend, so it’s the perfect time to dive in and try some content you’ve never experienced. I’m not sure if the Crosslé 9S is included in the free base pack, but either way, it's worth checking out.
