Cádiz: The Island City in Andalucía Cádiz: The Island City in AndalucíaThis video chronicles a 2-week stay in the city of Cádiz in Spain in February 2024. What a delight - we thoroughly recommend this city with its 3000 years of history; its culture and good food and sherry. Not as sophisticated or polished as its neighbour Seville, it is all the more authentic and, in February, was blissfully tourist-free (apart from the day the cruise ship was in port!). I tried an experiment of AI-generated text-to-speech voiceovers. Her Spanish pronunciation is appalling, and apologies for that - but hopefully you get the gist! In the streets I have kept the ambient noise for atmosphere, but have used music where the soundtrack was uncomfortable to listen to, usually due either to the wind, echoing or pneumatic drills. Please be aware that the GoPro I use does not handle low light very well (even using the low light setting) and so the sequences inside buildings are not as crisp as they should be. Enjoy a trip to Cádiz!
