This Song holds a very special place in my heart. It is Inspired by the doctrine that all mortals placed their faith in the promise of a Saviour in the Council of Heaven before the worlds were created, where we chose to come to earth, receive a physical body, and make mistakes during our journey of growth, that would disqualify us from returning back to the presence of God, our Eternal Father. We literally placed our eternal lives on the line as a result of the faith we had in Jesus Christ's integrity to act as our Saviour. He was faithful to His word, even at the toughest moment in the Garden of Gethsemane, he kept His promise so that we all might return with Him if we repent of our sins and accept Him as our Saviour. The fact that we trusted Him with our lives before this journey event started, says A LOT about His Character. Oh, the Integrity of my Saviour! WRITTEN BY Shaun Thomas Music PRODUCED BY Shaun Thomas LYRICS: Before the dust of worlds was formed… Before a star was named… We trusted in the promise of the Lamb. In halls of light, in courts of flame, We heard the Father call our name, A mortal road, a veil of tears, A path through hope, through doubt, through fears. And One stood forth in holy fire, With faithful heart and pure desire, “I’ll walk their road, I’ll pay their cost, I'll do thy will, for all the host The glory be thine, and never mine.” We saw His truth, we knew His grace, We trusted in His sacred ways, We chose to fall, to rise again, Because we knew He would remain. Oh, the integrity of my Saviour, Faithful before time began, He never faltered, never failed us, He holds our lives in wounded hands. Oh, the integrity of my Redeemer, Promise-keeper, risen King, My hope is anchored in His goodness, My soul will always trust in Him. (Ad-libs: So faithful… So true… Forever You…) We crossed the veil, forgot the light, Learned to walk by borrowed sight, Through broken vows and fragile faith, Through hidden tears and silent pain. Yet still His covenant stood secure, A love so holy, strong, and pure, From manger low to dusty roads, He bore our grief, He bore our load. He knew the weight, He knew the price, Still chose the cross, still chose our lives, No turning back, no compromise, He sealed His word with sacrifice. (Ad-libs: You never change… You never fail…) In olive shade, in midnight prayer, He felt the weight we couldn’t bear, The sin of worlds upon His frame, The grief of every heart and name. “If there’s a way, let this pass Me by… But still, Your will be done,” He cried. Before the worlds were set in place, He signed His name in mercy’s grace, A covenant no death could break, A promise sealed for sinners’ sake. He kept His word through shame and loss, Through crown of thorns and rugged cross, The record proved, forever true, The Lamb who said, “I’ll see this through.” From borrowed tomb to endless reign, From shattered stone to living name, He rose to claim what He had won, Salvation’s work forever done. Oh, the integrity of my Saviour, Faithful before time began, He never faltered, never failed us, He holds our lives in wounded hands. Oh, the integrity of my Redeemer, Living Word and Holy Flame, My life is written in His mercy, My hope secured in His great name. -libs: So worthy… So holy…) So I will walk the path He showed me, I will rise when I fall again, Until I see His face in glory, My song will never end. Oh...
