This is my review of the DR Trimmer Mower Premier. While learning the best way to use the trimmer, I made a few mistakes and/or didn't do some things optimally the first time around. Hopefully, some of the things I cover in the video will help viewers get the most out of this product with less frustration than I had. If you'd like to jump to a specific section of video, here's a breakdown of the contents: 0:00 - Intro and about Me 2:15 - Trimmer mower specs 3:23 - First start 3:57 - Engaging the trimmer head 4:40 - Trimming in large gravels 5:43 - First attempt at using 8:33 - Cutting with the "vacuum motion" 24:43 - Trimmer head belt slips 25:39 - Adjusting the belt tensioner 27:55 - Replacing trimmer line 34:27 - Using new 0.155" trimmer line 42:15 - Mowing the old stumps 47:59 - Mowing the mailbox and trashcan 49:21 - Ankle gives out 50:54 - First fall 51:29 - Second fall 52:48 - Final Thoughts I would highly recommend that if you have tall grass or thick weeds, you should use different trimmer string than the unit came with. I used Shakespeare Ballistic Universal 0.155" line I got at Tractor Supply. Being handicapped and unable to use a traditional string trimmer, I was curious if the trimmer mower would allow me to do my own trimming. I am happy to report that in my usage situation, it indeed will allow me to do most of my own trimming without the need to rely on somebody else. It may not work for everyone but it works well for me.
