"Canzone del Violino Verde" in E minor, for violin solo and orchestra, composed by Alessandro Rotundo (12-year old). -Composer's notes: I was inspired to compose this piece after reading the book "The Clockwork Three", written by Matthew J. Kirby. The book tells the story of three kids, including Giuseppe, an Italian street musician trapped by his padrone, until one day he finds a green violin with a melodious sound. Every time he plays a melody on his green violin people stop and listen. I picked a minor key because the story starts in a sad place, but it's full of energy and the magic of the green violin can't be stopped! Music Copyright by law.
