No, we’re not talking the legendary video by Flexifoil from the nineties. No,this is a brand new one! I’m not doing much flying these days, but yesterday I managed to squeeze a couple of hours into a pretty tight schedule! Nice and lowish onshore winds made conditions close to perfect for the 3D quad of mine. A couple of years ago, I modified a pretty standard QLK adding some depth to the sail. You know, just playing around a little to see what would happen. That modified sail surely did change the kite’s flying characteristics and I had a lot of fun flying it! I haven’t flown that 3D kite for quite some time but yesterday I felt ready for some 3D Tricky Flickery!
