We begin at Drottninggatan (Queen Street) before turning onto Brunkebergsterrassen (Brunke’s Hill Terrace), where there are views over Sergels torg (Sergel’s Square). From there, I continue through Benny Fredrikssons Torg (Benny Fredriksson’s Square) to Brunkebergstorg (Brunke’s Hill Square) and follow Malmtorgsgatan (Ore Square Street) to reach Gustav Adolfs torg (Gustavus Adolphus Square). Crossing Norrbro (North Bridge) brings us down to Strömparterren (The Stream Terrace) and further along Slottskajen (Palace Quay). The walk continues past Skeppsbron (Ship’s Bridge) and into Kungliga slottet – Logården (The Royal Palace – The Lawn Courtyard) before returning to Skeppsbron. From there, we move to Strömgatan (Stream Street), where the festival comes alive with performances and activities. Finally, I head to Karl XII:s torg (Charles XII’s Square), show the Karl XII:s staty (Statue of Charles XII), and end the walk at Birgit Nilssons allé (Birgit Nilsson’s Avenue) in Kungsträdgården. 🎉 The Culture Festival transforms Stockholm’s streets into a stage filled with music, art, and people – the perfect way to experience the city’s vibrant soul.
