Esto se ve potenciado por el pack de texturas OTEX de ukiro, consiguiendo que todas las texturas sean diferentes respecto a Doom 2. Si a esto le añadimos un gran diseño de niveles, con mapas muy divertidos de jugar y con un buen nivel de reto en altas dificultades, tenemos que Eviternity es un gran megawad para Doom 2 que debería jugar cualquier fan del juego de id Software. Este segundo capítulo, titulado Automation, la ambientación pega un giro radical respecto al anterior y se desarrolla en bases futuristas. La dificultad empieza a subir un poco más, y los dos últimos mapas son los más grandes hasta ahora.
