47km for 47 years on earth. A little video snapshot of a run I did last year; a tradition that I intend to keep up with for as long as I live. Suffice to say, life has been really challenging for me over the last two years and I have been struggling to find my feet again (I am getting there). Amidst the chaos and uncertainty, I have lots to be thankful for - I am in very good health and peak physical condition. Without which, I would not be able to experience the joys of long distance running in the mountains. That in itself is an absolute privilege! Life is suffering but you got to stop and savour the good, fleeting moments that she has to offer. I chanced upon a video on youtube where Tom Langhorne @fandabiwilderness read a beautiful poem by Kahlil Gibran. It resonated with me deeply and I decided to reach out to him. Thankfully, he gave me permission to use his narration for my little adventure. So here is my silly little video and I hope the message will ring true for you too.
