I'll be the first (ha!) to admit it...this video really isn't my best work. It didn't really turn out the way I'd hoped for various reasons. Perhaps you'll enjoy this rather long-winded tour of an old PC anyway. Amongst a few mistakes I didn't catch, I forgot to finish my statement as concerns the Pentium II and Windows XP: Windows XP was released at a time when the technological sun was setting on even the fastest Pentium II based computers. This Compaq Deskpro Pentium II system is in a "difficult" place right now. It's not new enough to run most modern software well, yet it's not old enough to qualify as a truly "vintage" personal computer. Systems like this are still pretty common and cheap if you look around. I'll admit I bought this computer without having a thing in mind to do with it. I might have left it there, if I hadn't thought it might be the rare Deskpro EX Pentium 4 model. For $6, I figured I could find something to do with it nevertheless.
