Observation teaches us that these are not the creatures which society has branded as demons. They are highly misunderstood and in fact some of the most gentle, affectionate, unique, evolved, fascinating, exciting, intelligent and mellow reptiles on the face of the earth. Some of these snakes are used for K9 Rattlesnake aversion classes in Joshua Tree California USA. Since these snakes have lived in this 300 square foot, climate controlled environment for the past decade they have adapted to and accepted this as their permanent home and can never be released. The interior is reinforced with rattlesnake fencing, including the ceiling. They even a hibernation den in the Northwest corner where they head to most evenings and hibernate over the winter.
