This is a behind the scene video of our 1st day in Praygraj - Mahakumbh 2025. I reached there on 15th jan evening, i was there till 18th jan morning. This restaurant is popular restaurant in Prayagraj and an old one from 1964. We stayed at Hotel Mauji’s Legacy, at Rs 10000 for double occupancy which is 5 km away from Triveni Sangam. Accommodation was below average, i will suggest you to check out this hotel only if other options at this level are not working out. On an average any hotel is charging 5 times normal tariff during this period. 16th jan Day 1 Indian Coffee House - Civil lines We had Sambar with Idli Rs 112 along with Coffee - Rs 52. The taste was below average. Then we went to the Triveni Sangam for the Snan - recorded in visa2epxlore Baati Chokha - After changing many battery rickshaws from Triveni ghat to civil line, as there are restrictions due to Mahakumbh. For the 5 km travel it took us 1 hour. We had Baati Chokha here at this restaurant. Few important tips - You may avoid going during “Amrit Snan”, try to go to Triveni Sangam between 6 to 9 am, prepare an itinerary for the day which are the places to visit, which can be avoid, you may book your stay well in advance.
