I picked up the Himalayan at the beginning of 2023 and it meets my riding style so much better. I want to be able to ride more offroad and go further on trips. The Interceptor limits me in both of those areas. While I will definitely miss all the charm and unique character this bike brings, I find myself wanting to take the Himalayan on 90% of my rides. (I just wish that bike had a bit more power.) If I were only commuting or riding twisties, I’d keep the 650 every time. The Interceptor will always be my first love when it comes to motorcycles. This bike delivers so much joy every time I take it out. It pains me to say goodbye to little blue. But it’s not right to watch this magnificent machine rot in the garage. So it’s time to set it free.
