Hi everyone, welcome to vlog #16! After leaving Maria’s parents' house in the village, on our way to Lisbon, we stopped by in Peniche. Du really wanted to go but Nazaré won instead so we couldn’t go! We finally came today! Today’s plan: 1. Traineira Restaurant 2. Supertubos Beach 3. Fortaleza de Peniche 4. Miradouro Junto ao Forte de Peniche 5. Cabo de Carvoeiro 6. Papôa 7. Ilhéu da Papôa 8. Baleal 9. Praia do Norte If you want to eat delicious fish, you have to go to A Traineira Restaurant, it was a local's recommendation and it was really worth it. We ordered, "Lulas à traineira" (calamari), "Filetes de Espadarte com Arroz de mexilhão", absolutely amazing. After that, we went to the Supertubos Beach, one of the World Surf League Tour spots, there were clouds but the sunshine was beautiful. We stopped by Fortaleza de Peniche, where the Peniche Local Museum is located. Peniche has one of the biggest traditional fishing ports in Portugal so, it was full of fishermen and surfers. Cabo de Carvoeiro (Carvoeiro's Cape) was beautiful, the shape of the rocks is unique! Papôa, Baleal, and Praia do Norte were amazing with the last sunrays of the day. We really enjoyed our day in Peniche, hope you guys did, too!
