An aspirant for chairmanship position of Awka South council area of Anambra State for August 29th,Local Government Election in Anambra State, Chief Christian Ezenwoke on Wednesday,4th February,2026 picked an Expression of Interest Form of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) at the cost of N1,000,000. Speaking with newsmen at APGA Regional Office in Awka, Chief Ezenwoke was optimistic about emerging victorious during the APGA primary election that will take place on Saturday,15th February,2026. He stated that he is more experienced amongst all the aspirants, having vied for House of Representatives,House of Assembly, and Governorship in the past. Coupled with the fact that he had organized so many support groups that helped Peter Obi,Willie Obiano and Charles Chukwuma Soludo to actualize their governorship ambitions. He promised to run a vibrant and inclusive government in Awka South that will take good care of Education, Health, Agriculture, Environment and Youths and Women Empowerments. He advised other aspirants to wait for their turn and allow him to go this time as a pay back for his numerous contributions towards the growth and development of APGA in Awka South Local Government Area and Anambra State in general.
