This video documents about four months of steady growth with one of my favorite houseplants, a Philodendron Burle Marx. It started outside on my backyard deck last fall during a repotting that didn’t go exactly as planned. A few cuttings broke off in the process, so instead of tossing them, I placed them into a vase of water and let them take their time growing strong roots. From the beginning, the main plant was placed in an intentionally oversized pot, with space left on purpose. The plan was always to reunite everything once the water-rooted cuttings were ready. This video follows that full arc, from outdoor repotting, to water propagation, to bringing everything back together into one larger pot indoors by the window. There’s nothing flashy here. Just patience, small adjustments, and watching a plant slowly fill in over time. I might not be able to see it the way most people do, but it still feels pretty cool to experience it taking shape. Somewhere along the way, this plant quietly became one of my favorites. If you enjoy long, real-time plant progress and low-key documentation, you’re in the right place. #PhilodendronBurleMarx #PlantGrowth #Houseplants #IndoorPlants #PlantCare #WaterPropagation #PlantProgress #AccessibleGardening #BlindOutdoorsman (Visual description: A man works with a Philodendron Burle Marx over several months. The video includes scenes outdoors on a backyard deck during repotting, cuttings placed into a vase of water to root, and later indoor clips near a window where the rooted cuttings are planted back into a large pot with the main plant. The plant gradually fills out as stems and leaves grow together over time.) Thanks for watching — subscribe for more Blind Outdoorsman moments.
