Indian authorities provide updates on the Gulf crisis and its impact on maritime operations and Indian nationals. Two Indian ships, Shivalik and Nandadevi, successfully crossed the Straits of Hormuz carrying over 92,700 metric tons of LPG combined. In the past 24 hours, 30 Indian seafarers were repatriated, bringing the total number of repatriations to 253. Major ports are providing priority berthing to LPG vessels to ensure continued energy supply, with approximately six LPG carriers given priority berthing in the last three days. The Ministry of External Affairs continues coordination with Gulf countries, Iran, the US and Israel at various diplomatic levels. Since February 28, around 172,000 passengers have returned from the region to India, with air connectivity steadily improving.
