【721 Yuen Long Incident】After a year, the police said on Aug 26 that it was “impossible” to mark down each person’s identity in the 721 incident since the crowd was huge, adding that by the time crime officers arrived at 3:30am, most people had already left Nam Pin Wai. FactWire investigated the case and found that some of the men dressed in white were able to cross the police cordon freely that night before crime officers arrived. The police even made way for the men’s cars to pass, without conducting any stop and search nor take down their identities.
