Tim explores the delights of yet more of his amazing kaleidoscopes. A kaleidoscope built inside a baseball! A tiny portable version, a tapered kaleidoscope called a 'Kaleido-Fantasy'... A Pentakis Kaleidoscope which allows you to place thin objects - Tim demonstrates with coloured straws - and you get a 60-fold reflections... The Kaleidosphere is the largest example, with internal mirrors that have tiny slits in them which allow light to come in from the side; inside there are small glass marbles of different colours. As they swoop up and down inside the Kaleidosphere, you get an amazing effect, almost like meteorites shooting through space!
