We saved the absolute best for last. 🌊 For the grand finale of our Grand Bahama series, we’re stepping onto Gold Rock Beach—often called the "Welcome Mat" of the island. At low tide, the water retreats for nearly 75 yards, revealing a signature ripple pattern in the sand that looks like a giant golden carpet. It’s so beautiful that Disney actually chose this exact spot to film scenes for Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest and At World’s End. Walking where Captain Jack Sparrow once stood was definitely a bucket-list moment for the 100by21 journey! 🏴‍☠️ We finished the trip by driving across the island to Paradise Cove.
