The wind king gives a magic lamb to the poor bootmaker as a present, but tells him not to try it out before reaching home. The boot maker sleeps at one of his friends on the way home, and he speaks about the secret. The envious friend and his wife exchange the magic lamb for an ordinary one. The wind king gives the bootmaker a magic table-cloth which would always provide him with food and drink. Returning home, he sleeps at the same house and speaks about the secret again. Made by the Kecskemét Film Studio. Directed by: Marcell Jankovics, Elek Lisziák Storyteller: Gyula Szabó Music: Kaláka band The Hungarian Folktales stem from original folktale collections, every episode has its special authentic ornamentation. The makers used the decorative art of a certain countryside region at each episode. The trio of folk art, folk music and folk tales are masterfully combined in the episodes, which have unique imagery, sometimes spicy folk humor in the dialogues. Thanks to the natural presentation of the storytellers, and the music of the Kaláka band, the viewer can experience something unique and special.
