I've been meaning to talk about this for a while now, so here it is. I personally think the idea that release of pressure is a reward for the horse is not only wrong, but is destructive to horsemanship. Thinking that just releasing pressure from the horse to do something will only make a relationship stagnant or worse. To truly create a bond and create solid draw there must be true draw through touch and feel and most definitely not food. I have been getting a lot of questions about training this guy and I have used this method from the first second I dealt with him and haven't stopped since.
