Instagram - / i_am_harshdeep_singh Holi 2026 — A Rajendra Place Memory The morning sun rose bright over Rajendra Place, and even before the clock struck 10, the streets were pulsing with life. A fresh breeze carried the scent of gujiya and fresh flowers, but the real spirit of Holi was in the air — the anticipation of color, music, and laughter. You kicked off the day by hopping onto your scooty, helmet on, tinted goggles ready to protect your eyes from the playful splashes of color. The road felt alive — groups of friends on scooters and bikes, all weaving through the lanes, sharing powdered gulal from packets and laughing as the first splashes of pink, green, and yellow hit your jacket. Each traffic signal became a mini celebration zone — strangers smiling, hands reaching out with handfuls of dry color, the atmosphere electric with cheer. As you cruised through Rajendra Place, the heart of the festivities, the crowd swelled. Street corners became hubs of color battles — old friends and new faces challenging each other with water guns and colored powders. Music thumped from corners — a mix of Bollywood Holi anthems and local beats, inviting everyone to dance right on the pavement. The sidewalks were a rainbow blur — people dancing, singing, and calling out “Holi Hai!” with unrestrained joy. Your scooty ride turned into a moving celebration — you slowed down to let kids smear colors on each other’s faces, gave a friendly splash of blue to a group of college students decked in white tees, and paused at the famous juice stalls to sip thandai with a dash of bhang, all while multicolored powder clung playfully to your hair and jacket. By noon, Rajendra Place looked like a living canvas — splashes of vermilion, orange, purple, and green painted every street and every smile. The whole area felt united in one exuberant moment: strangers cheering together, colors blending in the air, and laughter echoing off the buildings. As you finally parked your scooty and looked around, the crowd was still dancing, full of energy and delight, ready to carry the Holi spirit into the evening. It was more than a festival — it was a story painted in color, speeds, laughter, and the joyful rhythm of Holi in Delhi. #holi #holi2026 #colors #guys #oldrajendranagar
