Today, the Gordon College community will assemble for this academic year's Matriculation Chapel. Held each year on the Friday of the first week of classes, Matriculation represents a long Gordon tradition. It serves as a time for students, faculty, and staff to rededicate themselves to Christ, and to be reminded of the crucial importance of Christian education to the global church and to the common good. It is our tradition at Gordon that the recent recipient of the Distinguished Faculty Award delivers the matriculation chapel address. Dr. Jonathan Senning, Professor of Mathematics and Computer Science, was selected based on the nominations and voting of students and faculty. His address is titled "You can get there from here!"
