INDONESIAKU Visiting Motherland's Waif

This episode took me far to the border of Indonesia and the Philippines. From Marore island in north part of Indonesia, i sailed traditional pump-boat to Balut-Sarangani Island in southern Philippines. It took four hours to cross the sea border. There surprisingly, i met Indonesian. Ya, indonesian by their blood. They even couldn't speak bahasa indonesia. But, they proudly said that "they are indonesian". And because of their choice, they have to be alien there. They are Indonesian, but stayed in the Philippines. They paid taxes and studied there, but these almost 2000 indonesians, dreamed to go back to their homeland someday. I also met a woman who tried hardly to teach Bahasa Indonesia, just to keep Indonesia on their childrens mind.
