His Eminence ascended the Minbar 9 months after his last Khutbah in July 2023. His contract as Imam and Khateeb of Masjid Al-Haram ended in September 2023, and therefore he did not lead at Masjid Al-Haram till a few days before Ramadan 2024 (March 2024), when his contract was renewed. Today, he delivered his first Khutbah at Masjid Al-Haram after the renewal of his contract, which is also his sixth Jumu'ah Khutbah at the Haram.
