In this video, I’ll show you step-by-step how to brown the lamb, build deep flavors, and simmer everything into a thick, satisfying stew. Serve it with rice, mashed potatoes, or crusty bread! Braised Lamb Stew Ingredients • 800 g lamb thigh • 1 tbsp flour • 1 tsp salt • 4 tbsp cooking oil • 1 tbsp tomato paste • 1 medium onion, chopped • 2 cloves garlic, minced • 2 tsp chicken stock powder • 2 tbsp plain yogurt • 1 tsp black pepper • 1 tsp smoked paprika • 1 sprig rosemary • 1 ½ cups hot water • 1 tbsp soy sauce • 1 tbsp BBQ sauce • Parsley for garnish • 1 carrot, chopped • 2 small potatoes, chopped • ¼ medium bell pepper, chopped Instructions 1. Add the flour and salt to the lamb pieces. Mix well to coat evenly. 2. Heat the oil in a non-stick pot over medium heat. Add the lamb and brown on all sides for about 8 minutes. Remove the lamb from the pot and set aside. 3. In the same pot, add the onion and fry for 2 minutes. Add the garlic, stir, and cook for another 2 minutes. 4. Add soy sauce, smoked paprika, black pepper, BBQ sauce, and yogurt. Mix well and cook for 2 minutes. 5. Return the lamb to the pot. Add rosemary, bell pepper, carrots, and potatoes. Stir and cook for 2 minutes. 6. Add the chicken stock powder and tomato paste. Mix well, then pour in the hot water. Stir, cover the pot, and cook for 30 minutes. 7. Garnish with parsley and serve hot with rice and a side salad. Enjoy!
