Struggle bus and breaking rods ! Lanzarote October and February

Hiya all and welcome back to another Lanzarote fishing video. This is a two session video , one week in October 24 and a week in February 25 both being family holidays. October is usually a quiet month but the Mahi Mahi do run from September to November so me old buddy Brian and myself did 6 trips up the west coast looking for them but to no avail , I did have 1 hit but missed it . The best part was Brian seeing an 8 foot black tipped reef shark right under his rod tip that he initially thought was a new rock that had just appeared ;) . February is usually a better month but as you will see in the video I managed to snap my light setup whilst trying to lift a barracuda that at first glance I thought was a lot smaller DOH ! annoying as I even had my gaff with me ! We also try out the Westin Escape cam for some underwater footage of the bottom ( to see whats out there ) and lures to see if we can get a take on film . This worked well once we added the Y fin .
