Today we're going to be taking a look at part number CU123529. This is the Comeup CUB 3 Power Sport's ATV Wench. This model is going to feature the wire rope. The CUB series wench is going to help get you out of the mud, snow, ice, or whatever obstacle stands in your way. It's designed for endurance and reliability. Its going to feature a high efficient, low amp draw, sealed, permanent magnet motor. This right here is going to be our sealed contactor. This is going to be what connects the wench wiring to the ATV battery. What this does is it disconnects your wench from the power source when the vehicle is not in use. So it should be amounted close to the ATV battery. The yellow and blue wires are going to connect to the yellow and blue posts here on the wench, its going to run to the yellow and blue posts here on the contactor, and then the red and black wiring is going to connect to the red and black posts on the contactor, and run to the positive and negative terminals or posts on the ATV battery. It's going to come with your handlebar rocker switch and wiring. It's got the plug on it that matches up with the plug here on the contactor. That's going to allow you to control the in and out function of the wench from the seat of the ATV, so that's included. Now this section of hardware right here, this is the mounting bracket for the rocker switch. It's going to come with some options, when it comes to the bolt length, or the screw length, that way it can accommodate a wide variety of handle bar setups and applications out there. So it's going to come with all the necessary wiring and hardware. The only thing that you're going to need to get that's not included is going to be a mounting bracket for the wench, and for the the fairlead. That's going to be the same bracket, but they don't include one because it's going to be specific upon the type of ATV that you have. All the wiring is going to be color coded as well as the posts, so it makes the wiring installation much easier. The unit is going to feature a 3000 pound rating with a single line pull on the wench. So that's going to be our max capacity. The motor is at 800 watt, 1 horsepower, 12 volt permanent magnet motor. When it comes to the gear system, we're looking at a 3 stage planetary gear unit, and the gear ratio is going to be 138.5 to 1. On this side of the wench, we're going to have an easy to operate clutch mechanism. It has two positions, engaged and disengaged. Engaged is going to allow you to bring the wire rope in using the switch right here. Then with the disengage, it actually turns it into a free spool option, which is going to offer fast wire rope payout, that's going to allow you to extend the rope out and get it connected to your load or to the anchor point. This right here is going to be the roller fairlead. This is going to get mounted onto the wench mounting bracket, using theses two holes here, and the hardware that comes with the kit. The wire rope is going to run in between the rollers, that's going to reduce the amount of friction on the rope, which is going to extend the life of the rope. When it comes to the hub, we're looking at aluminum die cast drum construction. It's going to feature a center drum design, that's going to the give us a drum size, when it comes to the diameter, of 2.2 inches, by 3 inches in length. When it comes to the braking system, we're looking at mechanical and dynamic load-holding brake, that's going to offer 100% braking. We're going to have the nice wire rope. This is the 87 by 19 galvanized aircraft-grade cable. It's going to feature the grade 70 hook, with the spring-loaded safety latch. That way it doesn't come disconnected. The cable is going to measure 50 feet long by 3/16 of an inch diameter. Here on the bottom, we're going to have our mounting pattern. 4 holes, again, it's going to come with the hardware to get it mounted, it's also going to come with the rubber boots for the wire connection points protecting the terminals or the posts, and the ring terminals from the elements. Measuring the separation center-on-center between these holes, we're looking at 4 7/8 inch going in this direction, and going in this direction we're looking at pretty close to 3 inches. The wench itself is going to weigh around 18 pounds. It's going to give is an overall length from edge to edge, of about 12 3/4 of an inch, overall width from edge to edge of about 4 1/2 inches, and overall height of 4 3/4 of an inch. Now when it comes to the line pull, and the line speed, the rating is goi
