"I Remember A Time When Once You Used To Love Me" is a cover of the Greek song Mia phora thymamai, written by Yiannis Spanos and originally sang by the singer-songwriter Arleta. Cover art by guitarist Mick Turner. Recorded at Maison Rouge Studios, London, UK In January 1988, 23-year-old Australian Warren Ellis began a tour of Europe as a "busker". At his first stop in Greece, he heard the song "One Time I Remember" by Arleta on the radio. He liked her voice and performance so much that he almost fell in love with her. Four years later, in 1992, he created an orchestral trio band, The Dirty Three, with guitarist Mick Turner, drummer Jim White, while he himself played violin and bass. In 1993, he collaborated with the band Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds on the song Let Love In. He would soon join the band as a full-time member, initially playing violin, while gradually playing other instruments. It was April 5, 1995, when Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds came to Greece to play one of their special (but not very popular at the time) shows, specifically at the Peristeri indoor stadium, with support from The Dirty Three. At that time, it may have been the first time in Greece that the ecstatic Warren Ellis and The Dirty Three performed "I Remember a Time When Once You Used to Love Me", in an amazing Dionysian rock cover. In 1996, they included the song "I Remember a Time When Once You Used to Love Me" on their third album, Horse Stories, which was voted by Rolling Stone magazine as one of the three top albums of the year. Τον Ιανουάριο του 1988, ο 23χρονος Αυστραλός Warren Ellis ξεκίνησε μία περιοδεία στην Ευρώπη σαν "μουσικός του δρόμου" (Busker). Στον πρώτο του σταθμό την Ελλάδα, άκουσε στο ραδιόφωνο το τραγούδι "μια φορά θυμάμαι" από την Αρλέτα. Του άρεσε τόσο πολύ η φωνή και η ερμηνεία της, που σχεδόν την ερωτεύτηκε. Τέσσερα χρόνια αργότερα, το 1992, δημιουργεί ένα ορχηστικό τρίο συγκρότημα, τους The Dirty Three, με κιθαρίστα τον Mick Turner, ντράμερ τον Jim White, ενώ ο ίδιος έπαιζε βιολί και μπάσο. Το 1993 συνεργάζεται με το συγκρότημα Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds για τη δημιουργία του τραγουδιού Let Love In. Σύντομα θα ενταχθεί στο συγκρότημα ως μέλος πλήρους απασχόλησης, αρχικά παίζοντας βιολί, ενώ σταδιακά έπαιξε και άλλα όργανα. Ήταν 5 Απρίλη του 1995, όταν ο Nick Cave με τους Bad Seeds έρχονται στην Ελλάδα για να παίξουν σε μία από τις ιδιαίτερες (αλλά όχι πολύ δημοφιλείς εκείνη την εποχή) εμφανίσεις τους και συγκεκριμένα στο κλειστό γήπεδο του Περιστερίου, με support τους The Dirty Three. Τότε, μπορεί να ήταν και η πρώτη φορά στην Ελλάδα, που ο εκστασιασμένος Warren Ellis και οι The Dirty Three παρουσίασαν το "μια φορά θυμάμαι", σε μία καταπληκτική διονυσιακή ροκ διασκευή.
