With only a week to go until the big race day (fingers crossed for the weather), the teams got really stuck into shaping their cars this week. It was clear that the time spent over the past few weeks researching, designing and testing the different techniques and tools was well spent. The students worked hard and skilfully to convert the blocks of foam into aerodynamic racing chassis. There is only one session le before the teams go head to head against other schools, so the students put in a longer shi and even managed to get the axles and wheels assembled. This allows crucial time next week for final touches, testing and personalising the cars.
