I cut myself some baking silicone matts to block the top hole of wand and to give me flexibility on adjusting depth of the wand by being able to add/remove the silicone matts to adjust depth. I used a penny coin by the way to cut the silicones into shape. I used about 5 matts on this video. I prefer to put the wand in tripod so i can see the blinking lights from the bottom of the wand. I followed the camouflet guide to pull after 14 blinks. This heating method seems to give me consistent results so far.
