Make your own boilies | Fish boilie production, manufacturing & rolling with recipe | Carp fishing

Making your own boilies for carp fishing is not difficult. With the right recipe for rolling boilies and one or two household remedies, boilie production at home is very easy and you don't have to buy boilies. But which boilies should you make as a beginner? And which boilies are the best? In this new fishing video, Rute&Reel editor Jesco Peschutter shows and explains a very simple mix for making boilies for carp fishing, including a recipe for a fish meal boilie and tips. To roll your own boilies, you first need eggs. Depending on the size of the eggs, you need 9 to 10 eggs per kilogram for the dry mix. Add three grams of sweetener to the eggs. Butyric acid (N-butyric acid) is also a must as an attractant and lure. Jesco also adds ten milliliters of a fishy flavor and also fish oil, or more precisely salmon oil. Then he mixes all the liquid ingredients with a mixer to form a homogeneous mass. Various flours and attractors are used as dry ingredients when making high-quality boilies. Fresh ingredients are important for good feed and making carp boilies. The fish boilies contain 300 grams of semolina, i.e. durum wheat semolina, as a binding ingredient. The mix also contains 10 percent bird food. The main ingredient in the boilie mix is ​​250 grams of fish meal. There is also 20 percent full-fat soya flour, 70 grams of the Big "C" spray milk powder and 50 grams of corn flour as well as 3 percent brewer's yeast. These ingredients are for one kilo of boilie mix. This boilies recipe can also be scaled up to 5 kilos, 10 kg boilies, 15 kilograms, 20 kg or 25 kg fish boilies for carp fishing. After the flours have been correctly weighed on the scales, they are mixed with a mixer in a bucket and then stirred with the liquid ingredients until a smooth dough is formed. Then the boilie dough is kneaded by hand. If the dough is too dry, a little more egg or oil can be added; if it is too wet, flour is added. Individual pieces of boilie dough go into a boilie gun or are rolled by hand into 20 millimeter sausages. The sausage should be even and the same thickness. You can now roll the boilies yourself using a boilie roller. There are various boilie rollers, so you can make your own 20mm boilies like in the video, but also mini boilies 10mm, 30mm boilies, 12mm boilies or 24mm boilies as high-quality carp bait with your own boilie mix. The best boilies can be used when baiting with a feeding ladle with particles, but can also be fed from the boat, with a throwing tube, PVA or bait boat. With a little practice, the best boilie is easy to make when rolling when making boilies. After rolling 1 kg of fish boilies, the bait is cooked in a deep fryer. When the boilies are cooked, they float in the water and can be dried in Euro boxes for one or two days. Since Jesco doesn't use preservatives, he refreezes the fishing bait to make the boilies last longer. Freezing allows the fish meal boilies to be preserved and fed and fished as needed. As you can see, with a recipe for making your own boilies, you can make great boilies for carp as baits. And fishing with homemade boilies is even more fun for carp anglers on the boilie rig for carp. So you don't have to build a boilie machine yourself, just a few tools and the right boilie recipe are enough.
