Spectacular MTB Adventure In One Of The More Remote Areas Of Scotland. Isle of Harris MTB

I had been waiting a long time to get back here and it was worth the wait. This is a mini tour around the stunning Glens and Mountains on The Isle Of Harris in the Outer Hebrides. The first section is the best out and back I’ve ever ridden which reaches the very remote and impressive overhanging cliff of Sron Uladal. The largest in the UK. Then after we return on fast and flowing natural single track before riding to the beautiful Glen Crabhadail. This turned out to be one of the toughest descents I’ve ridden down towards Loch a Ghlinne flanked by the spectacular mountains. Then after returning back up the Glen I decided to tackle the Lewisian Gneiss covered mountain of Leosobhal. I’ll not say much more about this part as it’s part of a longer term project that I will hopefully complete in October when I return. You will get to see a sample of this descent before the weather made it too dangerous and ended the route I had planned.
