The Outlaw Emmett Deemus is been created to become a1/2-hour TV Road Comedy - a modernization of Miguel Cervante's "Don Quixote". It follows his adventure in contemporay times. Emmett is traveling on a beat-up, old motorcycle with a sidecar who eventually picks up a hitchhiking young pickpocket ("Jonsey" - escaping?) who sticks with Emmett for the ride. Emmett is heading to Sturgis, South Dakota for the Big Annual Motorcycle/Biker Rally. Emmett welcomes Jonesy's company. On the way, Emmett plans on he and his passenger capturing Bad Trouble-makers along the way and, by the time they reach the "Bros" in Sturgis they will have collected millions of dollars in reward money and be world famous.
