Indigenous knowledge holder, Abd’el Hakim Awyan taught us that the Sphinx was the great mother, Tefnut. Together, she and her brother, Shu were the Lion’s Gate or inter-dimensional portal for the first rising of the sun on the Horizon, the Akhet.
