Phase Dance | Generative Ambient Chillstep Patch in VCV Rack

My largest generative patch ever. So large in fact that if I were to add any more modules my CPU would explode! Phase Dance is based off three metronomes, each running at 136, 137, and 138 bpm. These metronomes create interesting phase relationships between each other that bring out many different rhythms. Much of the music runs at 136 bpm to establish a solid groove but some of the synths are clocked at the higher rate. The music oscillates between a chillstep groove and an ambient soundscape featuring wind chimes, the ocean waves, and bird calls (all synthesized sounds). If you notice that there is a discrepancy between the audio and the video that is because I had to record the audio and visuals separately as the patch was becoming so large that my computer could not handle recording audio and video together. The side visuals were created by Rangga Purnama Aji in Hydra with slight edits to the code by myself. Please enjoy!
