In this video series, we'll be inviting musicians of all different backgrounds and identities to sit down with us, play us some of their favorite songs, and join us in conversation around their musical process. Today we are featuring fiddler and singer-songwriter Carolyn Kendrick! Raised in Northern California by a family of Texan musicians, Carolyn has studied everything from marching band music to classical to jazz to bluegrass. It is this depth and breadth of knowledge that informs her own personal style, as can be heard on her recently released EP "Tear Things Apart". We are also particularly proud to be able to pay all of our artists!
