Enduring Activity: 2022 Pediatric Grand Rounds 12th Annual Dr. Thomas H. Pinkstaff Memorial Lectureship: “A Generation at Risk: Addressing the Pediatric Mental Health Crisis” Target Audience This activity is targeted toward all general pediatric physicians and pediatric subspecialists in the community. Statement of Need Pediatric grand rounds provide physicians a continuous update on emerging trends in caring for the pediatric patient, including new scientific discoveries that provide the underpinning of current pediatric practice. This activity will inform physicians about other issues involving professionalism, socioeconomic issues, and topics related to the ACMGE core competencies. Objectives At the conclusion of this offering, the participant will be able to: 1. Explain how to be a pediatrician advocate for mental health. 2. Describe the impact of COVID-19 on pediatric mental health. 3. Review how the National AAP plans to address the pediatric mental health crisis due to the pandemic.
