༄ A B O U T T H E S O N G This cover came naturally starting with a few simple chords but soon I started having ideas. I knew I didn't want to do this project by myself. For this reason, I automatically thought of my friends María Sierra (Spain) and Laura Martínez (Spain), who in my opinion, are the central axis of the cover. They have beautiful voices that come from the depths of the ocean and give the song that part of sweetness and melancholy. I also needed male vocals, so that is why I had the participation of my friends R O D I O N (Ukraine) and Sami Mans (France), who give the song some elegant and rich bass tones. And then, there is my vocals in a neutral place. From the beginning, I knew that I didn't want it to sound like the original song, but at the same time I wanted it to keep the essence of it. So, I deconstructed the song and wrote a new thing that started from scratch. The intro is a mixture of electronic and symphonic elements that create that dark atmosphere that eventually connects with those piano chords that simulate the chimes of a large clock. I thought that, for this version, it would be perfect to create an introduction since the original song, on the contrary, begins in a somewhat more abrupt and strong way. In the development of the song, everything is combined. An atmosphere of different contrasts is created that match perfectly together. The haunting female vocals, the male ones, the piano and the strings. The bridge is a totally different composition from the original song that came naturally in the creative process. I think this is one of my favorite parts. The song's outro is a piano version of Amy's vocal melody of the original song, combined with the sound of a storm and raindrops. The most remarkable thing is the connection I have had with each of the people who have made this project possible, always encouraging and inspiring me to create something really good.
