All Rights Reserved Worldwide Thanks to one viewer who has tracked down the exact date of this set to August 20, 1989. It was one of my first visits to the Mid-State Fair after relocating to the area and just happened for these amazing Bill Monroe shows (see the evening set also). And got to have dinner at a picnic table near the stage are with Bill Monroe himself between shows with BBQ from one of the fair's best rib and tri-tip vendors. All together a memorable day and one of my first outings with a video camera. Glad I captured these shows on video and that the tapes held up over 20 years until I got them transferred to digital form.
