Leominster: Oldest Standing House (?)

This is believed to be the oldest house in the city of Leominster, still standing today. There is a little controversy as to which house is really the oldest, this one being declared oldest at last check. Over the years, various homes were considered the oldest, from a 2-family way up Pleasant Street (near School House #6), to the old Comb Factory nearby, and possibly others claiming to be the oldest as well. Judging by the sign on the front, this would not be the oldest house, but since it was the last to be declared such, the sign may be wrong, about the year it was errected. Anyone who can verify this, or whichever home is the oldest that's still standing, please leave a comment (and address in a private message).
