Do NOT Use Dettol To Strip Paint From Model Train Bodies

After last nights decal failure on the Hornby 1400, I decided to throw it in the Dettol antiseptic liquid (a method I learned from RMWeb, not the self admitted nonce), what nobody tells you is that the antiseptic liquid actually eats away at the polystyrene plastic, and renders the body pretty much unusable. A word of warning, do NOT use this stuff on plastic bodied locomotives, diecast are fine (Dublo, GraFar, Trix, Wrenn, kitbuilds, etc) but any polystyrene plastic models (Hornby, Airfix, Mainline, Bachmann, Dapol, Triang, etc) WILL melt in the antiseptic liquid.
